Poudis comes from the Latin Podicium (small hill) and is said to be the property of the Gallo-Roman "Potitius" following Julius Caesar's invasion in 52 BC.
During your walks, you can discover the small heritage (metal crosses, 3 dovecotes on pillars, 1 dovecote on a mule foot shape and several covered wells scattered throughout the countryside), 1 mill and the church of Saint Peter.
