A small village in the Tarn in the Midi-Pyrénées region, Belleserre is part of the canton of Dourgne.
It is situated at an altitude of 246 metres. The neighbouring communes are Cahuzac, Sorèze, Lempaut, Lagardiolle and Durfort...Its population is 174 inhabitants (called the Belleserrois.es), for a surface area of 4.76km2.
The commune is situated at the foot of the Montagne Noire.
