Let yourself be guided through history and discover Revel market hall (14th century) and its belfry (19th century) located in the very heart of the town. Our guides will lead you to discover Revel past, its foundation, its town planning and of course the market hall and all its functions, among which the grain measures are the witnesses. Climb the 80 steps of the belfry to gain access to all the floors up to the terrace. It is THE best viewpoint "At the source of the Canal du Midi". You will observe the Lauragais plain and the Black Mountain as well as the roofs of the town, the façades of the square, the church... The visit is even better on Saturday mornings when the market is in full swing: the merchants haranguing the crowd, the discussions but also the smells that rise to visitors' nostrils.

Every Saturday at 11am, the Tourist Information Centre offers a 45-minute guided tour of the belfry. Price: 5€ and free for children under 12.
In summer, the guided tour of the belfry takes place every day except Sunday at 11am.

The Tourist Information staff also offers express tours of the belfry, outside the 11am tour times, depending on requests at reception and the availability of the guides. Express visits take place on Saturday mornings in low season and every day except Sunday from July to September, depending on the availability of guides. Prices: €2.50 per person and free for children under 12.
